Walled Lake Consolidated Schools Event Agreement

The Walled Lake Consolidated School District is committed to providing safe, respectful, and enjoyable environments for all students and their guests at school-sponsored events. In order to ensure a positive experience, all attendees must comply with the following expectations, which apply to dances, athletic events, performances, and any other school-sanctioned student activities held on or off campus:

  1. ID Required for Entry: All attendees must present a valid school or government-issued photo ID upon entry. Guests who are not Walled Lake students must also provide a completed guest request form and copy of ID prior to ticket purchase. Note: Some events may have designated entry times, after which admission is not allowed. Refunds are not issued for late arrivals or early departures.
  2. No Re-Entry: Once a student or guest leaves the event venue, they may not re-enter.
  3. Prohibited Substances: Alcohol, drugs, vaping devices, and other controlled substances are strictly prohibited. Any attendee suspected of being under the influence will be removed from the event and released to a parent/guardian or law enforcement. This includes behavior or items in personal or rented vehicles (e.g., limousines), which fall under school jurisdiction.
  4. Appropriate Attire: Attendees must follow the event-specific dress guidelines and dress in a manner that is respectful and appropriate for a school-sponsored activity.
  5. Conduct Expectations: All attendees must follow the Walled Lake Consolidated Schools Student Code of Conduct. Violations may result in removal from the event and additional school-based disciplinary action.
  6. Guest Responsibility: Walled Lake students are responsible for the actions and behavior of their guests. Choose guests wisely, as their misconduct may result in consequences for the hosting student.
  7. Departure: At the conclusion of the event, students and their guests are expected to exit the premises promptly and respectfully.
