Walled Lake Western’s Rodney Endsley takes home indoor track state title

Walled Lake Western senior Rodney Endsley stood at the top of the podium over the weekend after claiming the Michigan Indoor Track Series (MITS) and Michigan Interscholastic Track Coaches Association (MITCA) Indoor State Championship in the 400 meter dash. Endsley took first with a blazing time of 48.78 seconds.

Endsley, who has already signed with the University of Michigan, set a new Walled Lake Western school record in the 400 meter dash as a junior with a time of 48.98, which he is poised to reset this spring.
