Walled Lake Central’s Connor Martin qualifies for state bowling championships

Walled Lake Central senior Connor Martin punched his ticket to the MHSAA Division 1 State Finals on Monday, March 2, at Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park.

Martin finished fifth overall at the regional championships tallying 1,172 pins in the Singles event on February 21 at Century Bowl in Waterford. His best score of the day was a 221 in the third of six games.

Earlier this season, Martin helped lead Walled Lake Central to the Oakland County Championship with an incredible 759, which was the highest individual score among all bowlers.
