Walled Lake Central boys’ volleyball wins first regional title in program history
The Walled Lake Central boys’ volleyball team made history on Thursday night claiming its first ever regional championship. More impressive, it’s only the program’s third year competing at the varsity level.
The Vikings dominated Father Gabriel Richard jumping out to an early two-set lead before taking the regional final match 3-1 (25-14, 25-13, 22-25, 25-14).
Walled Lake Central will meet Dewitt on Tuesday, June 3, in the MVCA Division 2 State Quarterfinals, 7 p.m., at Father Gabriel Richard in Ann Arbor.
