Clifford H. Smart Middle School 4x800 meter relay team sets new program record

The Clifford H. Smart Middle School girls’ 4x800 meter relay team made history on Wednesday setting a new program record in the event in their meet against Centennial and Millennium middles schools.

Ava Montante, Kara Alt, Quinn Blewett and Addisyn Atwood ran a blazing fast time of 10:29.84 to etch their names in the program record books. Alt and Atwood, along with Alyssa Dayton and Eliana Fredrick, held the previous record of 10:37.66, which they set last season at the Oakland County MiDdle School Championships.
