Media Center
Welcome to the Walled Lake Central Media Center
Walled Lake Central Media Center is a friendly space for students to relax, explore, and connect during the school day. Open during lunch hours, it’s the perfect place to step away from the hustle and bustle of the cafeteria and enjoy a quieter, more comfortable environment.
Our collection includes over 7,000 books, and if you don’t see what you’re looking for, students are always encouraged to submit book requests. The Media Center also offers games that promote critical thinking, a community puzzle that encourages teamwork, and computers available for printing and accessing our online resources, including Sora.
Media Center hours are 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., and throughout the year teachers bring classes in to explore new arrivals, discover resources, and build a love of reading and learning.
