The Walled Lake Consolidated Schools’ Board of Education appointed Todd Pheiffer the new assistant principal and athletic coordinator at Walled Lake Central at its special meeting on August 3, 2026.

The Walled Lake United boy’s lacrosse team was recognized by the Michigan High School Lacrosse Coaches Association (MHSLCA) with five student-athletes taking home six All-State awards to close out the 2026 season.

Walled Lake Western senior Rodney Endsley capped his high school track career with two trips to the top of the podium claiming a pair of state titles on Saturday at the MHSAA Division 1 State Championship meet at Rockford High School.

The Walled Lake Central boys’ volleyball team took home the MHSAA Division 2 regional championship on Friday defeat Ann Arbor Father Gabriel Richard in straight sets.
